By using vidacoverage.com you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The site is operated by Legacy Shield Insurance Services, LLC, DBA Vida Life Insurance Solutions.
Vida is a licensed insurance agency, not an insurance company. We do not underwrite insurance and we do not decide who is approved. Requesting an estimate or starting an application authorises a licensed agent to communicate with you about insurance; it is not an application for insurance and it does not guarantee coverage.
Every premium figure and calculator output on this site is a non-binding estimate for educational purposes. It is not guaranteed and is not an offer of insurance. Your actual premium, your eligibility, the riders available to you and final approval are determined solely by the issuing carrier based on its underwriting, your application and applicable state law. Products and features vary by state and may not be available where you live. Policy guarantees rest on the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier.
You must be at least 18 and a resident of a state where Vida is licensed. We are licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. We are not licensed in New York and do not offer or sell insurance there.
Estimates depend entirely on the information you provide. Inaccurate answers produce inaccurate estimates, and material misstatements on an application can void coverage or cause a claim to be denied. Answer honestly — it protects your policy.
The Vida Academy is general education, not financial, tax, or legal advice, and not a recommendation to buy any particular product. Consult a qualified professional about your own situation.
If you provide a phone number and check the consent box, you agree that Vida may contact you by call and text, including with an autodialer, a prerecorded voice, or an artificial or AI-generated voice, at the number given, even if it is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Vida and its producers are compensated by the issuing carrier through commissions, and may be eligible for other compensation from the carrier or from our insurance marketing organization. You pay no separate fee to Vida.
Do not use the site unlawfully, submit false information, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape or copy it at scale, or interfere with its operation.
The site, its content and the Vida marks belong to Legacy Shield Insurance Services, LLC or its licensors. You may read and share individual pages; you may not republish the content commercially without written permission.
We link to carriers and other third parties. We do not control their sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Shield Insurance Services, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability arising out of your use of the site will not exceed one hundred dollars (US$100). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your rights under any insurance policy you actually own — those are governed by the policy and by your state's insurance code.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of this site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Los Angeles County, California, or by telephone or video at your election. You and Vida each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class or representative action.
You may opt out. Send written notice to [email protected] with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of first using the site, including your name and address. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms. You may also bring a qualifying claim in small claims court, and nothing here prevents you from contacting an insurance regulator.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where your state's consumer or insurance law provides you greater protection.
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
